Our client is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead urban development projects and mentor junior staff. You will oversee planning and design for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
This role involves managing project delivery, optimising resources, and fostering collaboration. You will work closely with clients, councils, and stakeholders to navigate planning requirements and deliver well-designed, sustainable developments.
You are an experienced civil engineer with expertise in urban development and a passion for leadership. Whether mentoring junior staff, refining designs, or ensuring compliance, you take pride in delivering high-quality solutions. Your critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills make you a valued team member.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- Experience in urban development, land subdivision, and civil design.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to mentor junior engineers.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients, councils, and stakeholders.
- RPEQ accreditation (or willingness to obtain).
